Infrastructure Support Engineer - Microsoft and Citrix server
Our global multinational client based in the Zürich Area is currently looking for an English speaking, certified Microsoft and Citrix server/desktop support engineer with strong Exchange client/server knowledge and excellent troubleshooting skills, to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly global leader in its field. German speaking will be a plus although not required.
Within the IT Engineering & Operations team you will be the point of contact and support expert for the Level 2-3 support.
Ensure the Level 3 Incident Management queue is always up to date. Work with engineering, application developers and vendors where required to ensure quick resolution of issues.
Improve automated support processes for proactive alerting including delegation of tasks.
Provide engineering assistance on Windows 7/Windows Server 2012 /AD/Citrix and MS Exchange products.
Extensive troubleshooting of Windows OS, Active Directory, Citrix, MS Exchange and MS Office/Outlook products.
Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
Windows Server 2008 R2/2012, Windows 7 Support
MS SCCM application and OS deployments
Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop Administration
MS Exchange Administration
MS Outlook and Lync support
Active Directory & Group Policy Administration
